Something to remember
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report, if any virtue, if any praise, be thinking on these things.
Helping preachers to proclaim, and all Christians to hear, the transforming Word of God
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report, if any virtue, if any praise, be thinking on these things.

Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may be able to determine what God's will is -- what is proper, pleasing, and perfect. - Rom. 12:2

Linking to a given site doesn't mean I necessarily agree with everything it says. And since this is a blog, not a sermon, I'm not being fastidious about qualifying every post. If you're a preacher of the Word, you ought to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff. If you want to see what I believe and preach, go to my sermons page:
or my other weblog:
Please let me know if you've linked to this page, and I'll be happy to add your link to this one.

Thanks for the reminder!
You're quite welcome. It's good to see I'm reminded someone besides me!
milton - did you read my blog 2 days ago? That is the verse that the Lord woke me up with... then He told me to actually FIND things that were "true, pure, lovely..." etc. and DWELL there - LIVE there...
It's not easy - but it makes a huge difference. For me, it meant not watching "the news" first thing in the morning... not much "pure and lovely" going on there!
Yes, I did read your blog two days ago--that's probably where I got the idea of posting it yesterday!
