Made me dig out my copy of Giving the Sense. Its a helpful essay. Thanks for that!
Whoops. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I've updated the post now to correct the error.
Bluefish is right, "Giving the Sense" is an excellent read from start to finish. However I found the chapters by Kaiser and Block to be of particular usefulness.
