Word and community

This little quote from Bonhoeffer (via Nancy) is worth reading and thinking about.

Makes sense to me. The Word never returns void but accomplishes that for which it was intended (or something like that)

yeah, mark comes up with some good stuff.

it's a bit rainy here today, makes it feel like fall, winter and spring. which is what it does all three of those seasons. so summer is on it's way out.

my oldest daughter, who turned 21 on friday, took-off for college today, after being home for the summer. it was sweet to have here here.

Nancy, I feel for you in sending your daughter back to college. Glad you were able to spend the summer with her.
