Christians and the Law

Jeff Weddle offers sound advice on a right view of the OT law:
In our current age we feel it imperative to bash the Law. I suggest we be careful with this. The Law was added to codify our sin, to let us know what it is, and yes, it did stir us up to sin.

However, that’s not a problem with the Law–it’s a problem WITH US!
Yes, indeed.

What a great thought. Yes, Paul said that the Law was but our tutor, to prepare us for our Lord and the salvation that he was to bring to our feet. But are we to completely forget what we were taught before our new education came? The Law is the soil that the cornerstone is constructed upon. To forget the latter, is to forget the purpose of the present.
