When the apostles and the early Church presented the Gospel to people, no one had heard it before. Today, nearly everyone in the West has heard at least some part of it. Everyone's heard of Jesus.
What people are NOT seeing, though, is a church that walks its talk. So they easily dismantle the talk. However, they can't do that if we back up what we're saying with true Gospel living.
