Great quote. From a Christian point of view we think of not wanting to brown nose the worldly.

From a non-Christian point of view, I wonder if it applies to people who seek the "good opinion" of Jesus in the difficult moment but who have no intention of spiritual transformation that might result in their being "like him"?
