Prayer or sin?

Christian, are you guilty of the sin of prayerlessness?

Thanks for the link. That article is a good example of how hard it really is to truly let the Bible be our authority, without denominational doctrine. I believe every denomination (including many Churches of Christ) is guilty in some cases of putting denominational teaching above the Bible. Whether or not we are completely successful in doing so, Churches of Christ at least proclaim the principle of holding the Bible above our own habits and preferences. I continue to hope that we will increasingly live what we proclaim.

As I mentioned in the earlier comment thread, there is a wide range of doctrinal and temperamental perspectives in Churches of Christ. Finding fault with churches and Christians is as easy as finding sand on the beach. I try to keep focused on Christ and pray that the Lord's people will be obedient servants.

Peace.
