I understand the point of his post ... but still am persuaded that the Bible IS the story of God and us. If there'd nsver been 'us' then Jesus could have stayed comfortably at His Father's side.
But God had a cosmic point to make about the power of good over evil and He chose to create and redeem us through Christ in order to make it ... right before the heavenly beings, whether they obeyed or rebelled.
And in that way, it is all about Him.
