This is a really important perception that many can learn from. I would say that I had for many years fallen into the same pattern of thinking with respect to the fruit of the Spirit. Thanks for the fine links as usual.

It's still something I struggle with today, I think--wanting the performance (as in, on my own strength and merits) but not the leadership and sovereignty of the Spirit. Peace.
