Still recovering

Eight days ago I had surgery to repair a hernia. The surgeon told me to set my own pace based on comfort, stamina, and common sense. The past few days stamina has been the limiting factor. Rather than blog today, I think I'll devote more time to rest and recovery.

I hope you recover quickly. Any surgery requires rest and quiet.

May you have both.

I've had that surgery. Definitely take it easy...those abdominal muscles don't like being cut. Blessings for a quick recovery.

Thank you, Kim, John, Phil, Pam, and David. I took it fairly easy this past weekend and am feeling better. Thanks especially to those of you who prayed for me. Peace.

Well, I am praying a wee bit late. Do you think that still counts?

Remember, those hernias come from too much heavy-lifting. I could be wrong, but we Christians are not called to lift with our legs. We are called to lift with our hands, raised, out-stretched: we lift them in order to let things go.

Peace, I pray.
